We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in preparing and filing withholding tax statements and sales tax returns, along with a strong foundation in general accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, reconcile, and file monthly/quarterly sales tax returns.


• Manage and submit withholding tax statements in compliance with FBR regulations.


• Ensure timely issuance of tax deduction certificates to customers.


• Maintain accurate accounting records, ledgers, and journals.


• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.


• Conduct regular bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring.


• Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants during audits and tax assessments.


• Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws, rules, and financial regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum Qualification: B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce)


• At least 3 years of relevant experience in accounting and taxation.


• Strong knowledge of different tax portals and withholding tax filings.


• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Peachtree).


• Excellent command of MS Excel and financial reporting tools.


• Good communication and documentation skills.


• High attention to detail and organizational skills.
