| Job Description: |
We are looking for an Accountant to provide accountancy services to an accountancy firm we provide outsourced services to in the UK.
Duties will include:
- Preparing and submitting statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies in line with UK legislation;
- Preparing and submitting self-assessment and corporation tax returns as per HMRC requirements;
- Preparing management accounts;
- Book-keeping and preparing VAT Returns in line with HMRC's MTD for VAT regime;
- Training and supervising junior staff.
You must:
- Be fluent in English – both written and verbal;
- Have accounting experience for UK-based businesses;
- Be able to use accounting software, such as TaxCalc, Xero and QuickBooks;
- Understand UK accounting and tax regulations and requirements.
