| Job Description: |
- Review of the adequacy of internal control.
- Ensure effective management of the financial resources of organization and that all operations are within the policies and procedures as laid down by the management in compliance with best accounting practices and donor guidelines.
- Review and appraise the soundness, adequacy and application of financial and operational controls.
- Take appropriate measures for the prevention of frauds and elimination of conditions inducing fraudulent actions
- Undertake special audit assignments at the directive of the supervisor.
- Prepare reports containing observations, comments and recommendations based on carried out work.
- Assist in knowledge management process by providing accurate, sound and timely professional advice to board and management.
- Ensure that the agreements executed with donor agencies are strictly implemented.
- Ensure the confidentiality of financial and technical information including audit findings and observations from the irrelevant entities.
- Undertake any other activity that contributes to the smooth running and development of the organization.
- Monitor field activities and spent at least 15 % time in field for monitoring purpose, submit monitoring reports to the supervisor.
